BABY MASSAGE OIL - Unscented Nourishing Oil

Use daily to provide soft moisture, or for a loving massage. Apply after bath and massage into skin. Reapply as needed

Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) seed oil, Corylus avellana (Hazelnut) seed oil, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) oil, Calendula officinalis flower extract

 

Sunflower oil has been the preferred choice of baby massage instructors for the last 5-8 years as it has many properties that make it ideal for babies. It has almost no smell, is full of vitamins, and absorbed easily into the skin. It is also low in oleic acid and is high in linoleum acid which has antibacterial, regenerating, restructuring and moisturizing properties (Stoia et al, 2015; Danby et al 2013). Some studies even suggested that sunflower seed oil was very important in preterm baby health and enhanced the skin barrier function.

Hazelnut oil- is a rich source of healthy fats that protect cell structure, fibre, and plant-based protein. It also contains many vitamins and minerals, making it an excellent choice for a baby's skin.

Almond oil -  is often recommended by dermatologists and doctors. Almond oil has a light, sweet scent and contains vitamins A, B1 B2, B6 and E, as well as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Almond oil is an excellent choice for use on babies because it is naturally rich in emollients and pure enough for sensitive baby skin.

Calendula oil- helps add silky softness to your loving, gentle touch. And that post-massage skin-to-skin cuddle will be extra moisturizing! Something else that might need some moisturizing? The top of baby's head, if it's dry and scaly.

Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply on broken skin. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear.
